About the position

The Warehouse Associate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves a variety of tasks, including loading and unloading trucks, managing shipment documentation, and maintaining the organization of the warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a proactive attitude in keeping the warehouse running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently load and unload shipments to and from trucks, ensuring the safe handling of goods.
• Prepare and manage shipment documentation, including manifests and bills of lading, ensuring all required details are accurate and complete for tracking and compliance.
• Ensure all products are stored correctly by organizing and stocking shelves, maintaining clear labeling, and following inventory control processes to optimize space and efficiency.
• Regularly conduct stock checks to monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and warehouse regulations, ensuring a safe work environment for all employees.
• Work closely with other team members, warehouse managers, and delivery personnel to coordinate the efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse.

Requirements

• Proficiency in loading/unloading trucks and organizing shipments
• Strong understanding of creating and handling manifests and bills of lading
• Familiarity with warehouse organization techniques and stock management
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
