About the position
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining warehouse operations, including inventory management, equipment upkeep, and overall appearance of the warehouse. This role involves assisting the Warehouse Manager in various tasks to ensure efficient operations and safety within the warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general warehouse appearance, including policing outside the building.
- Accurately maintain inventory numbers throughout the month to minimize loss.
- Assist Warehouse Manager by informing when products are low and disposing of damaged inventory safely as required.
- Maintain forklift maintenance and service schedule.
- Assist Warehouse Manager in monitoring mileage and required service on delivery vehicles.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned by the leader.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse is preferred.
- Must pass a drug test and background check.
- CDL license or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds is required.
- Mechanically inclined with strong math and reading skills.
