About The Position

The Warehouse Associate position provides support to the operations division including receiving, sorting, and loading freight into the proper location and/or trucks. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to lift and move up to 75 pounds on occasion.
Ability to use pallet jacks, carts, and hand trucks to move freight around the warehouse.
Trailers are unloaded using forklifts.
Warehouse experience is preferred but not necessary.
Forklift Experience or Certification preferred, but not necessary.
Ability to work overtime if needed

Responsibilities

Review the linehauls and routes coming into the warehouse.
Sort and stage the freight to ensure all deliveries go with the correct drivers.
Reconcile route sheets to ensure they match paperwork, investigate problems that may arise and address and correct any client service concerns.
Notify the supervisor immediately of all verbal or written inquiries concerning any in-house issues, missing freight, etc. to ensure that contractors are following proper customer procedures to avoid service issues.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Perform other duties as assigned.
