About The Position

As a Warehouse Colleague, you will be a critical part of the Supply Chain team, driving success through a Four Pillars Strategy: Organizational Excellence, Building & Developing the Team, Financial Acumen, and Integrating with our Community. This role involves performing essential processes for online orders for Macy’s and Bloomingdales customers. Full-time colleagues typically work 30 or more hours per week, while part-time colleagues work 12-24 hours, with hours dependent on business needs and colleague availability.

Requirements

No Education or Experience Required
Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays with regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
Self-starter in adapting quickly to changing customer expectations and needs
Proficient in the use of computers and handheld technology

Responsibilities

Receive, prepare, put away, pick, sort, pack and ship merchandise in a safe, productive and accurate manner.
Key accurately and productively using PC’s, hand-held computers, Radio frequency equipment or other such devices and learn area-specific functions within multiple systems (Warehouse systems and proprietary systems).
Operate pallet jacks and other equipment as needed. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment as needed.
Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment.
Understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and People Leaders.
Read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English.
Foster an environment of acceptance and respect that strengthens relationships, and ensures authentic connections with colleagues, customers, and communities.
