What You’ll Get to Do The Warehouse Associate/Material Handler is located in Elk Grove, IL, and is responsible for pulling and packaging materials for pickup and shipments, unloading materials, and verifying their receipt while ensuring safety . This position reports to the Production Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who is detailed-oriented, a team player and values recognition. A vital member of the Warehouse team , this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader.

Requirements

• Ability to safely operate machinery necessary for moving materials throughout the warehouse
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work to meet delivery schedules
• Good verbal and written communication skills with a math aptitude
• Ability to accommodate mandatory overtime when required, including Saturday work

Responsibilities

• Pull material for customer orders using Bill Of Ladings
• Package material in preparation for pick-up orders and shipment
• Unloading of incoming materials from vendors and customers
• Verify receipt and enter counts in the proprietary ERP system
• Handle, package, and label architectural doors and frames
