About The Position

The Kennedy Group, an Inovar Packaging Group, LLC, one of North America’s premier flexographic and digital printing companies, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse, Material Handler & Shipping/Receiving Finisher. This hybrid role is essential to maintaining the flow of materials and finished goods through our production environment. You’ll support the entire lifecycle of our products—from receiving raw materials and staging them for press operations to preparing and packaging finished goods for shipment. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality work, and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or related role preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Effective verbal, written, and listening communication skills
  • Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Windows or ERP systems a plus
  • Team-oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand or walk for extended periods
  • Frequent use of hands, reaching, and handling of materials
  • Kneeling, crouching, stooping, and climbing
  • Work environment includes exposure to moderate noise, inks, and chemicals
  • PPE may be required depending on task

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Receive and store raw materials accurately, verifying shipments and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and organization, using aged stock when appropriate.
  • Pull and deliver materials to press operators to minimize downtime.
  • Operate material-handling equipment and assist with press changeovers and teardowns.
  • Verify product details, roll counts, and special instructions for accuracy.
  • Package and prepare skids for LTL shipments, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
  • Schedule pickups and coordinate timely carrier deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, following all safety protocols.
  • Dispose of scrap and waste material promptly, ensuring production areas remain clear.
  • Collaborate with press operators, supervisors, and team members to meet production timelines.
  • Follow all departmental procedures and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
  • Remain flexible to support changing priorities and cross-functional needs.
