For more than three decades, the Virginia Lottery has worked to build a strong reputation, one synonymous with providing fun, entertaining experiences and doing so responsibly and with integrity. Proceeds from traditional Lottery games support K – 12 public education in Virginia. Taxes generated by sports wagering and casino gaming, which are regulated by the Lottery, benefit other priorities of the Commonwealth. The Virginia Lottery, an independent state agency, is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join its Hampton Customer Service Center. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for a variety of duties involving tickets; receiving, issuing, verifying, sorting, storing, and crediting retailers for returns; delivering lottery tickets and supplies to field sales staff; lending ongoing support to the Hampton Customer Service Associates by providing customer service at the front service counter and assisting with incoming phone calls; maintaining adequate instant ticket inventory and accurate records of returned tickets; conducting inventories on field sales’ trunk stock; and maintaining records of all shipments, receiving Point of Sale (POS) materials and distributing them to field sales team.
