About The Position

Johnson Brothers is a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor. Johnson Brothers has been providing, exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry. The Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for unloading trucks and checking-in product deliveries. Warehouse Associate will put away product in various locations in the warehouse but will be assigned other duties as needed. Job Description: Review accuracy of receiving documents, verify products being received and inspect products for damage Ensure product is delivered and stocked in the appropriate area in the warehouse by utilizing the Company’s technological tools and properly operating various warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jack, cherry-picker) Receive products into the warehouse management system Rotate products as needed Report issues with product deliveries to supervisor and prepare paperwork for all returns to supplier Follow receiving procedures to eliminate and/or control inventory shortages or overages Provide regular pro-active updates so management is well informed and updated regarding all open issues with receiving issues Assist with inventory counts Perform other duties as assigned by Management

Requirements

  • Warehouse experience
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Basic math skills are required
  • Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. REPEATEDLY
  • Good verbal/written communication skills
  • Experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts, stock pickers, and pallet jacks
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Must be available to meet scheduling requirements which may include additional hours without advance notice
  • Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and a post offer physical

Responsibilities
