About The Position

Work is performed onsite in Gordonsville, TN. This is an hourly entry level warehouse position and relocation is not available. Work environment is not temperature controlled. Position Hours: 1st shift - 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday. Overtime varies for Friday and Saturday and may be mandatory. This position requires the operator to accurately set up, program, and operate machines while producing products according to blueprints and work order specifications. This position also requires the operator to accurately measure of product using various tools and methods.Job ResponsibilitiesSummary of the Position This position is responsible for receiving products from suppliers and processing shipments to customers. Pulls and packs customer orders as required.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of related work experience required; up to 3 years related work experience preferred.
  • Language Skills - Good written, oral and interpersonal skills. Ability to read, analyze and interpret written documents. Must speak English and be articulate with phone and computer communications.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Reasoning Ability - The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. The ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Other Qualities - Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail. Ability to perform independently without direct supervision. Demonstrates initiative to resolve issues or improve processes. Good teamwork skills. Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office products, particularly Word and Excel, as well as Lotus Notes, and SAP.
