About The Position

This position will support the operations and sales functions of the Parts Warehouse

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Requires reporting, organization, communication & teamwork skills
  • Must have the ability to analyze information, deal with complex issues, and meet deadlines
  • Inventory control and data entry skills
  • Ability to move items weighing at least 90 pounds
  • The person in this position needs to move constantly for extended periods of time (80-100% of shift)
  • Ability to work indoors for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift certification is a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill and ship customers parts requirements in order to obtain and maintain maximum customer satisfaction
  • Receive incoming stock or transfer parts, ensure accuracy, packing slip and inventory
  • Maintain a neat and clean appearance in the customer parts area and parts warehouse
  • Receives items by unloading vehicles; accepting deliveries; unpacking containers.
  • Verifies items received by inspecting the condition of items; comparing count/measure of items to purchase order and packing list; noting discrepancies
  • Documents items received by recording identifying information
  • Fills orders by studying requests - locating and retrieving items
  • Replaces damaged items and shortages or obtains credit by informing shipper and transporter of damage or shortage; returning damaged items; requesting new items or credit for shortages
  • Receives credit-return materials from production by verifying identifying information and quantity of materials - placing materials in inventory
  • Prepares shipments by assembling, packing, protecting, and labeling containers
  • Ships items by verifying identifying information and quantity and condition of items; loading and protecting items
  • Documents items shipped by recording identifying information of items and transport information
  • Maintains shipping and receiving materials by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed materials; placing and expediting orders for materials; verifying receipt of materials
  • Maintains parts and supplies inventory by receiving, inspecting, and verifying items; identifying and storing items; recording location; reordering items
  • Maintains parts and supplies database by inputting additions, deletions, and corrections.
  • Verifies inventory by conducting physical counts
  • Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following standards and procedures - complying with legal regulations
  • Other duties may be assigned
