About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining a professional work area, picking, packing, and manifesting the correct items for each transaction, operating the lift truck safely, and putting stock away in proper location. All of this is while maintaining a clean and safe working environment, where the goal is to provide accurate and timely customer service. In addition, the Warehouse Associate will be responsible for related supply chain duties including processing return transactions working with the purchasing and sales departments and, on occasion, performing delivery service duties and/or using the company’s box truck to make local deliveries or pickups.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED, or related experience.
Ability to pass a physical exam and obtain a Medical Exam Certificate.
Experience in shipping, receiving, forklift operation, inventory control (cycle counts, physical inventory) computer skills, customer service, moderate math skills or other related fields.
Ability to handle physical workload, lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
Clean driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Inventory control.
Customer service.
Load and unload vehicle.
Receiving and put-away of inventory.
Picking, packing, and shipping products.
General warehouse maintenance for tow motor, garage doors and other related machinery.
Clean up work area, sweep floors, clean benches, put tools and supplies away, knock down. cardboard for disposal, collect rubbish in the office area a minimum of once weekly and dispose.
