About The Position
America's top replacement window company, Window World, is looking to hire a determined and dependable Warehouse Associate to participate in our warehouse operations and activities at our Dallas Fort-Worth, TX location. In this position, you'll be receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock and organizing stock in the warehouse; Thus, this position will require you to be able to lift 50-90lbs throughout the day and to operate a forklift. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. This is an ideal job for a motivated person who pays attention to detail and can keep their environment safe and in good working order. Requirements
- Proven success working in a warehouse type role
- Physical strength and stamina to endure extreme heat, cold and other weather conditions when working outside, in and around the warehouse
- Capacity to lift heavy objects throughout the day (50-90lbs)
- Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Skilled in the use of pallet jacks, forklifts, hand trucks, and other various warehouse equipment
- Ability to work independently and safely
Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete diary logs into inventory and report any discrepancies
- Open communication with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Pursue quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Executed maintenance activities when required
- Follow and understand of applicable federal, state, local, and company safety policies
- Assist with training of newly employed workers
