About The Position

Our Warehouse Associates perform various warehouse duties in support of the Warehouse Manager to help ensure that our Project Managers and Installers in the field have everything they need, on-time, in-place, and ready to go for an exceptional customer experience. This includes assisting with the loading and unloading of product, moving product to the appropriate organized spaces, assisting with inventory, material runs, and assisting with the preparation and staging of installation materials for projects. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Extended periods of sitting or standing
  • Work in a warehouse setting with varying temperatures at times.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime.
  • Able to lift, push/pull, and carry at least 50lbs.
  • Able to stand for at least 6 hours per day.
  • Able to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs, and ability to kneel.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with construction, remodeling, or window and door products is preferred.
  • Prior experience with utilizing inventory management software is preferred.
  • Ability to operate a desktop computer and related peripherals.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload deliveries to and from the warehouse assigned.
  • Make material runs for material shortages on active jobsites.
  • Some local travel to pick up parts and supplies.
  • Organize the product in the warehouse and keep maintain shipping/receiving area.
  • Provide input to leadership about warehouse layout and space requirements to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization.
  • Assist with inventory, including using Marvin’s inventory management software, ensuring accuracy for job site costs and available material in inventory.
  • Assist in the building maintenance including but not limited to snow removal, minor building repairs, cleaning etc.
