We offer competitive wages, quarterly bonus, paid time off and comprehensive benefits that begins on Day ONE and paid training. 1st shift: $18.00 hour 2nd/3rd shift: $19.44 hour (includes 8% shift premium) Will train on 1st shift up to 3 weeks Schedule: 1st shift: Monday – Friday: 6 am – 2 pm Monday – Thursday: 6 am – 4 pm Monday – Thursday: 6:30 am – 4:30 pm 2nd shift Monday – Friday: 2 pm – 10 pm Monday – Thursday: 2 pm – 12 am Monday afternoon – Friday morning: 4 pm – 2 am 3rd shift Sunday night – Friday morning: 10 pm – 6 am Monday night – Thursday morning: 7:30 pm – 5:30 am Mandatory overtime required/ Scheduled in advance We don’t lead our industry - our people do. As a Warehouse Associate at Caterpillar you will: Perform the warehousing functions required with the processing, storing, and moving, of parts, materials, supplies and operates various types of material movement equipment. Follow Standard Work Must be able to work in a highly structured environment, strictly adhering to provided standard work instructions Ability to follow and understand source documents to verify quantities, count parts, fill orders, and package parts as necessary. Ability to train others in Standard Work Follow documented procedures standard work, as defined in a variety of source documents to verify part numbers, part locations and quantities. Follow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): Must be able to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor Must be able to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures Must be able to walk, squat and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes

Requirements

  • At least 6 months of prior work history
  • Beginner proficiency in Computer Skills/Microsoft applications

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months of Forklift experience (sit-down, stand-up/reach truck, turret truck)
  • Order Picker Forklift experience (cherry-picker, case-picker)
  • Logistics/Warehouse experience
  • Experience with Computerized Inventory Management Systems (SAP)
  • Numerical Reasoning Aptitude Skills
  • Caterpillar system knowledge with logistics software (MAMM, Glovia, MRC, etc.)
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
