What a typical day looks like in this role: - May Load and unload trucks, move material in a safe manner using forklift, pallet jack, handcart, or other device. -Pick will calls as needed when counter activity is heavy -Maintain branch counter stock/merchandising -Assist with customer branch pick ups -Receive and locate incoming project inventory (DTS) -Pick, and stage outgoing DTS orders -Provide branch coverage support during lunches -Assist with branch cycle counting -Research inventory discrepancies -Pick OT orders originating out of Hartford -Receive and put away incoming freight -Assist with customer returns that originate at the counter -Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties -Participate in processes and programs aimed at promoting a safe work environment. -Perform other related duties as required or directed by manager.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of forklift operations and warehouse equipment.
