Warehouse Associate - Hiring Immediately
About The Position
Fulfill requisitions, work orders, or requests for stock items and distribute to internal departments or designated storage areas Sort and put away inventory on into appropriate racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code Verify inventory in system through cycles counts and investigate discrepancies and adjust any errors Mark inventory with identifying information and update system with number and type of items received or distributed Perform other warehouse duties as assigned Assist with shipping and receiving as needed including unloading of trucks, checking in inventory and packing outgoing shipments
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
- Forklift experience required
- 3 months or more related experience and/or training
- Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English
- Basic math, reading comprehension and writing skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and stand for long periods of time
