About The Position

Beauty Industry Group (“BIG”) is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate who will make a difference in our daily operations. The team member will be working in a warehouse performing various activities in the operations environment. This employee will help facilitate the timely receipt of goods from vendors, stocking and transporting to designated locations, the fulfillment of orders, restocking, along with cycle counting. This position requires the ability to work with other departments including co-workers as well. Compensation: $20.00 per hour Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Onsite: 1250 N Flyer Way Salt Lake City, UT 84116

Requirements

2+ years of relevant warehouse, material handler, shipping/receiving experience required
High School Diploma or GED required
Ability to communicate in English using written and verbal skills
Lift at least 50 lbs. at a time
Conduct yourself with honesty & integrity
Basic understanding of simple math, written instructions, and the ability to complete forms and necessary paperwork
Cleanliness and organization
Ability to crouch, bend, twist in warehouse environment
Stand for extended periods of time

Responsibilities

Receiving & Stocking: Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy against packing slips, and properly stock inventory in designated locations.
Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer and internal orders for shipment using proper procedures to ensure timely and correct delivery.
Inventory Management: Participate in regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate inventory records; help identify and report discrepancies.
Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following 5S standards and promptly addressing any safety hazards or disorganization.
Shipping & Logistics Support: Assist with packaging and labeling outbound shipments
Prepare packages for courier pickup and ensure shipping documentation is complete.
Equipment Operation: Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, carts, and barcode scanners safely and efficiently (training provided if needed).
Team Collaboration: Work cooperatively with warehouse teammates and cross-functional departments to meet daily and weekly fulfillment goals.
Documentation & Communication: Accurately complete all necessary paperwork and digital records related to inventory movement, receiving, and shipping.
Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors on status or issues.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest process improvements, assist in implementation of warehouse best practices, and contribute to a culture of accountability and growth.
Physical Requirements: Perform physical warehouse duties including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and safely bending, crouching, and twisting as required.
