The Warehouse Associate role is a newly created career opportunity within their successful and rapidly expanding division.

Requirements

  • Accurately follow directions, both written and verbal
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
  • Regularly lift, push, pull and/or move objects 10-50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh up to 100 lbs
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach
  • Occasionally required to sit and climb (ladders and/ or stairs) or balance
  • Attention to detail
  • Great communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
  • Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time
  • 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred
  • Familiarity with safety measures in a warehouse
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety

Responsibilities

  • Receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments
  • Assessing stock for damages
  • Keeping a concise record of inventory
  • Accurately filling customer orders
  • Picking of parts to fulfill orders
  • Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
  • Scan items into the warehouse management system
  • Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
  • Organizing the warehouse space
  • Preparing orders for shipment
  • Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
  • Operating stock management tools: for example, powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks
  • Counting stock and keeping inventory records
  • Routine cleaning duties
  • Interface with management to ensure key objectives are realized
  • Maintain safety regulations and compliance with all applicable regulations
