Temporary Warehouse Associate
About The Position
PepWear, based in Cedar Hill, Texas, is a leading, growing company producing and selling screen-printed and embroidered apparel and commemorative plaques at school events and to school groups across the country. With a focus on service, integrity, and learning, our Team makes the difference! We are seeking detail-oriented individuals who want to join our Warehouse Department Team. This is an entry-level position with ample opportunity to grow and learn new skills in this department and in other PepWear departments. Candidates must be comfortable working with quick turnarounds in a detail-oriented work environment. The ability to learn quickly and be willing to take on new challenges is a must.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Have the ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be goal and achievement-oriented with a strong organizational skillset
- Understand and be committed to accountability and ownership of your responsibilities and results
- Proficient using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) and up to the challenge of learning our internal management software
- A Criminal Background Check and Motor Vehicle Report are required
Nice To Haves
- General trailer maintenance and knowledge desired
- Trailer pulling experience desired
- Warehouse, logistics, and inventory control experience is desired.
- Forklift experience or certification is preferred
Responsibilities
- Will be required to receive, stock, pull, and ship merchandise
- Build and wrap multiple pallets daily
- Unload trucks, trailers, and vehicles as they arrive at PepWear
- Responsible for keeping the warehouse and the PepWear grounds organized and clean
- Involved in maintenance tasks throughout the PepWear facility. (ex. Bulb replacement, lawn care, tire maintenance, trash pickup, metal sweeps, ceiling tiles, etc.)
- Occasional trailer drops and pick-ups to and from our remote employees
