About The Position

Virginia Eagle Distributing Company is currently hiring for a full time 2nd shift Warehouse Associate for our Winchester warehouse. 4 day work week Monday - Thursday which gives you a 3 day weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday)! This is a 4 day schedule. Monday - Thursday, Second (2nd) Shift 12:00 pm to close The 2nd shift warehouse position builds beverage orders by stacking quantities of beer, and non-alcoholic beverages on pallets using a forklift or electric pallet jack. The position is responsible for doing so accurately and quickly to company standards. Other duties may include loading trucks, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining a clean working environment. Prefer previous warehouse experience, however, applicant with good job stability is also a good fit.

Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 pounds or more on a repetitive basis during a 10 to 15 hour day with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling and sitting.
Must be able to utilize basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to communicate utilizing the English language in verbal and written form.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
