Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess good physical stamina and coordination
  • Could be required to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer
  • Ability to work flexible hours and/or days (Site Specific)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse / freight forwarder experience
  • Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, etc.
  • Ability to speak Spanish (Site Specific)

Responsibilities

  • Receive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damages
  • Operate stand-up, sit-down forklifts, and hand jacks for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding of cargo
  • Load and unload trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free manner
  • Prepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling Unit Load Device (ULD) preparation
  • Sign off Bills of Lading accurately, verifying counts and damages
  • Maintain the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees
  • Stage cargo within the warehouse safely and orderly while maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Ensure proper warehouse organization through the use of warehouse booking-in sheets or Warehouse Management System (site specific)
  • Handle logistics accounts, picking, packing, inventory reporting/stock checks as needed to achieve quality standards outlined in SOPs or customer requirements, including reworking, or recouping of freight
  • Completion of weekly bond checks (Site Specific)
  • Execute Dock-to-Stock procedures and regulations at all times, maintaining building perimeter security and challenging anything or anyone untoward (Site Specific)
  • Handle bonded import freight into the External Temporary Storage (ERTS) facility in accordance with regulations and breakdown of inbound ULD’s as required (Site Specific)
