Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Possess good physical stamina and coordination
Could be required to stand and/or walk for long periods daily while frequently bending, twisting, reaching, and periodically lifting up to 50 lbs
Applicants in a warehouse role must complete a pre-employment drug screen as part of a conditional job offer
Ability to work flexible hours and/or days (Site Specific)

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED
Previous warehouse / freight forwarder experience
Familiarity with Bills of Lading, Shipping Manifests, Delivery Orders, etc.
Ability to speak Spanish (Site Specific)

Responsibilities

Receive goods from customers and suppliers by offloading and loading vehicles, checking paperwork, weighing, measuring, and reporting discrepancies or damages
Operate stand-up, sit-down forklifts, and hand jacks for palletization, stretch wrapping, and banding of cargo
Load and unload trailers/ocean containers in a professional and damage-free manner
Prepare outbound loads by matching paperwork, labeling, and handling Unit Load Device (ULD) preparation
Sign off Bills of Lading accurately, verifying counts and damages
Maintain the flow of materials and products in warehouses with varying degrees
Stage cargo within the warehouse safely and orderly while maintaining standards of cleanliness and organization
Ensure proper warehouse organization through the use of warehouse booking-in sheets or Warehouse Management System (site specific)
Handle logistics accounts, picking, packing, inventory reporting/stock checks as needed to achieve quality standards outlined in SOPs or customer requirements, including reworking, or recouping of freight
Completion of weekly bond checks (Site Specific)
Execute Dock-to-Stock procedures and regulations at all times, maintaining building perimeter security and challenging anything or anyone untoward (Site Specific)
Handle bonded import freight into the External Temporary Storage (ERTS) facility in accordance with regulations and breakdown of inbound ULD’s as required (Site Specific)
