About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving, pulling, packaging, and shipping orders in an accurate and timely manner

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have 3-4 years of related experience.
• Detailed orientation, ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to perform all computer functions as they pertain to this job.
• Demonstrated ability to solve practical problems, interpret, resolving problems and issues using a variety of instructions or guides furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Must be able to become certified and maintain certification through an OSHA approved forklift certification program.
• Must have good command of the English Language, Oral and Written

Responsibilities

• Receives and ships orders using radio frequency scanners
• Inspects inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage
• Accurately fills customer invoices
• Prepares shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner
• Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage
• Performs all computer functions as they pertain to this job including Microsoft Windows, various freight software and label matrix programs
• Assists in counting inventory
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as required
• Sweeping, dusting, and mopping
• Always organize warehouse and work area for orderliness
• Maintains proper housekeeping and safety standards
• Safe operation of all machinery, tools, and equipment
• Actively participates in department meetings
• Participation with safety and quality suggestions
• Shoveling and clearing sidewalks during winter months
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned
