We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to be part of a team-oriented environment. Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Current valid driver’s license
  • Warehouse, shipping & receiving experience required
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Interest in working for a small company; warehouse is under 2,000 sqft.
  • Willing to be trained in handling dangerous goods to assist with packing materials
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and problem solving
  • Comfortable working on a computer and have basic computer skills
  • Must be an independent worker and self-starter capable of managing issues within the normal course and scope of the position with limited supervision
  • Flexible team player with a service orientation and a “can-do” attitude

Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate, efficient and safe handling of merchandise during receiving, storage, and shipping
  • Receive, offload, sort, store and retrieve product per regulations
  • Maintain the work area and follow all safety requirements
  • Log incoming and outgoing packages with use of the ERP system
  • Collaborate and communicate with all SST departments to ensure proper flow of incoming materials and devices
  • Inspect various safety equipment and fire extinguishers on a routine basis
  • Assist in the shipping department as needed
  • Maintain inventory levels, place inventory order as needed, complete weekly inventory count
