About The Position

Our client is seeking a reliable, safety-minded Coffee Roaster Batcher to manage the flow of green coffee from the warehouse mezzanine to the roasting facility. This role is essential to production readiness and requires accuracy in documentation, adherence to GMPs, and the ability to perform physical, repetitive work safely.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Pull/drag a minimum of 132 lbs. (sliding coffee bags, repetitive motions).
  • Stand for extended periods and meet strict production timelines.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Good communication; team-oriented; dependable and safety-focused.
  • Integrity and ownership of work quality.
  • Ability to use a forklift.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Batch & Transfer: Send all green coffee from the warehouse mezzanine to the roaster according to production needs.
  • Documentation & QA: Accurately document greens used (lot codes, item numbers, and pounds used), verify item/batch quantities, and ensure proper item/lot coding.
  • Inventory Accountability: Maintain accountability for all green coffee sent to the roaster.
  • GMP & Food Safety: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and company food safety/quality policies.
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Keep the work area clean, sanitary, and organized; store supplies in designated locations.
  • Standards Compliance: Ensure all green coffee meets company standards prior to release to production.
  • Safety Ownership: Immediately report employee safety, food safety, and/or quality concerns to a Supervisor/Manager.
  • Other Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support production goals.
