About The Position

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for accuracy? We're looking for a motivated Warehouse Associate to join our client's team for a 3-month contract with the possibility to transition to a permanent position (based on performance, attendance, and hiring needs). In this role, you'll be responsible for: Receiving packages: You'll be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, making sure everything arrives according to plan and gets directed to the right place. Packing and prepping orders: Get those orders ready to roll! You'll be picking, packing, and labeling shipments to keep our deliveries flowing smoothly. Keeping things organized: Accuracy is key! You'll maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date. Working safely and efficiently: We prioritize safety! You'll be trained to operate material handling equipment (like forklifts) and follow all safety protocols. Teamwork makes the dream work: You'll collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. What you'll bring to the table: A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn Excellent attention to detail and accuracy The ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new technologies

Requirements

• 2 years of experience working in a warehouse or retail home improvement store, where you gained experience operating warehouse equipment.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent
• Availability to work Sundays
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be able to work Sunday-Thursday 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new technologies

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, etc.)
• Prior experience in a production or goal-oriented environment
