About The Position

Summary/Objective The Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting both customers and internal team members by accurately pulling stock, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining organized inventory. This role will assist with receiving, stocking, and tracking goods, ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-focused warehouse operation. Essential Functions Receive and process incoming stock, materials, and equipment. Load and unload equipment, appliances, and granite slabs. Execute loss prevention practices by ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate. Perform monthly inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy. Pick and fulfill orders from stock; prepare shipping labels and all necessary outbound documentation. Match purchase orders with goods received and verify shipments are correct and intact. Coordinate receiving activities and communicate with delivery drivers. Organize, retrieve, and restock materials as needed. Assist retail and contractor customers with product needs and inquiries. Operate the overhead crane safely and efficiently. Drive a light-duty truck between warehouse locations as required. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and work within defined timeframes.
  • Previous warehouse experience required; experience in a related industry preferred.
  • Computer literacy with basic data-entry skills for inventory control.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Forklift experience required or willingness to be certified.
