About The Position

1-800-Flowers.com is looking for a warehouse associate to support order
fulfillment operations. This position is a crucial part of a team that fulfills
daily flower and gift orders from our amazing customers each day. The warehouse
associate will be responsible for performing a variety of daily tasks including
but not limited to receiving/processing incoming freight, picking/fulfilling
orders, and packing/shipping orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic math skills
• Ability to count and record inventory
• Quality control
• Ability to work in cold temperatures for an extended amount of time
• Ability to work on your feet for an extended amount of time
• Forklift and electric pallet jack certified or ability to obtain one
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Respect for the individual
• Positive attitude and forward thinking
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work responsibilities
• Comply with company policies and procedures
• Hydrate inbound floral shipments
• Prepare, pack, scan, and ship customer orders
• Manage, organize, and retrieve stock and other needed materials
• Build flower boxes in anticipation of future orders
• Utilizes power equipment as needed
• Maintains a clean work area
• Other various tasks as assigned
• Temporary labor supervision responsibility during peak holiday weeks
• Ability to work extended hours during peak holidays to include nights and weekends
