About The Position
Warehouse Associate is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Teammates will follow all Insight policies and procedures. Each person is accountable for meeting or exceeding individual and / or departmental metrics. As a Warehouse Associate you’ll get to: Receiving and documenting product into SAP Finding locations of product using SAP or client asset management system. Verify quantity and the correct products Work with lab team to pack product and post goods receipts on finished product. Select the right size of boxes and pack the product, preparing packaging for shipping. Accurately mark the correct number on products and correctly label products Maintain cleanliness of work area Adhere to safety standards, immediately correcting or reporting any unsafe conditions Perform other duties as assigned Mandatory OT required Be AmbITious: This opportunity is not just about what you do today but also about where you can go tomorrow. Requirements
- High School Education or equivalent with at least 6 months of warehouse experience
- Must have knowledge of shipping, warehouse and safety procedures and some computer experience
- Must have the ability to multitask with strong organization and time management skills
- Must be able to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints within a timely fashion
- Must have the capability to use RF technology
- Ability to communicate in and understand English to the extent necessary to fulfill/perform the essential job functions.
Nice To Haves
- Possession of a valid forklift certification would be a plus
- Knowledge of a WMS system, SAP preferred
