About The Position
Summary: To Assist Yard Superintendent in Coordinating All Aspects of Equipment Management and Ensure Quality Work of Other Yard Field Personnel Job Description: POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: • Ability to perform all Yard person II and Yard person III duties (refer to position descriptions) • Assist in processing telephone orders for tools and equipment • Fill tool and equipment orders for projects • Deliver tools and equipment to jobsites • Repair tools and equipment • Assure work quality of other yard field personnel • Maintain shops, warehouse and inventories in good working order • Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction equipment utilization
- Practical knowledge of function, operation and maintenance of construction tools and equipment
- Training in equipment repair or equivalent experience
- Good construction technical skills
- Effective written and verbal English communications skills
- Problem solving ability and a strong sense of urgency
- Valid driver’s license
