About The Position

A Warehouse Associate II will perform entry level warehouse operations including one or more of the following: shipping, receiving, material handling, inventory control, cycle counting, pop pick or will call. Responsible for all warehouse operations, as well as the upkeep and maintenance of the warehouse environment and equipment. All S&S Activewear employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook. They will primarily be working in our PopPick stations.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and speak English.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, organized, and positive warehouse environment.
  • Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery.
  • Must be comfortable using electronic devices.
  • Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information.
  • Must be flexible with start and departure time changing.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to work independently without close supervision.

Responsibilities

  • The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently and accurately filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping product in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity.
  • Prepare customer orders accurately and timely to meet daily production goals.
  • Follow and commit to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for safety, quality, production, efficiency, and service requirements.
  • Prepare and pack goods for shipment.
  • Report and record any discrepancy, damaged items, shortages, broken or unidentified packages to the supervisor.
  • Operates machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and stock chaser.
  • Contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment.
  • Performs inventory counts and reconciles any discrepancies.
  • Train in Will Call and other customer service duties as required.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of Distribution Center
  • Assists with other warehouse or branch duties as needed.
  • Must be willing to cross train.
  • Responsible for any additional duties assigned.
