Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading storage containers and shipments with care and precision
• Properly wrapping and securing furniture and household goods to ensure items remain in excellent condition during storage or transit
• Inspecting inbound freight and taking detailed exceptions to accurately document the condition of items upon arrival
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
• Regular sweeping, general facility upkeep, and ensuring equipment is operated safely and efficiently
• Handle high-volume weight loads - ranging from 80,000 to 100,000 lbs. daily in the summer, and 30,000 to 40,000 lbs. in the winter
• Work closely with van operators, operations staff, service providers, and customers to ensure smooth coordination and high-quality service
• Accurate recordkeeping and neat, legible paperwork
• Assist with local or short notice moves based on the day's workload
• Contribute to a positive and professional work environment
