About The Position

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results-oriented Warehouse Associate who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for ensuring prompt delivery & handling of customer products in accordance with ZIEHL-ABEGG mission statement.

Requirements

  • Operating a forklift
  • Work experience in warehousing
  • Time management, communication skills, familiar with metric system, working with hand tools
  • Ability to stand on concrete for an entire 8 hour shift
  • Walking on the manufacturing floor
  • Ability to pick up and move products
  • Heavy lifting (50 lbs. to 70 lbs.)
  • Ability to reach, bend, handle, lift, walk and stand
  • Able to work shift hours of 2:30pm-11:00pm, Monday-Friday

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory management software (beneficial)

Responsibilities

  • Load & unload trucks and containers
  • Stock & pull orders with accuracy and speed
  • Prepare orders for shipment
  • Maintain shipping and receiving equipment
  • Submit orders with weights and dimensions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Operate a forklift & pallet jack
  • Occasional assistance in packaging area
  • Stage orders in an organized fashion
  • Other duties as assigned
