About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is primary responsibility is to pick and load product for outgoing delivery. In this role, you will select products from the Warehouse, load and secure goods to pallets, and move inventory to designated loading areas. You must comply with all relevant safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. To ensure your success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate a forklift or other material handling equipment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Basic math and reading skills to perform job tasks and complete necessary paperwork
  • Ability to do basic math calculations, with and without a calculator
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend and speak English
  • Proficient in basic computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Customer Service Oriented
  • Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Willing to work at heights of 25 feet or more while secured by a harness
  • Language: English (Spanish/English) a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred 1 year work experience in a production or warehouse environment

Responsibilities

  • Reads customer delivery pick order, determines items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
  • Drives forklift (reach truck, Order Picker, Turret Truck, Pallet Jack, Sit Down) to Pick/Pack and transport items.
  • Sorts and places material(s) or item(s) on racks, shelves, bins according to predetermined sequence (i.e. Size, type, style, color, or product code).
  • Uses a RF scanner to enter records and record data.
  • Marks materials with identifying information.
  • Stages material in proper area as designated by pick order ticket.
  • Gather, pack and stage materials to meet customer order demands.
  • Performs cycle counts.
  • Loads and unloads vehicles.
  • Other duties as assigned
