About The Position

Goodheart‑Willcox Publisher is an employee‑owned company and a recognized leader in Career and Technical Education. We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our growing team! We offer a desirable Monday-through-Friday schedule with no weekends. This position is on-site five days a week in our Tinley Park, Illinois office. The Warehouse Associate will pick and pack orders with accuracy and timeliness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and has a positive attitude. Our compensation is market based and takes into account a variety of factors including the candidate’s skill set, experience level, internal equity, and location. For this position, we anticipate the starting hourly rate falling between $18.00 and $21.50 per hour. In addition, the company makes a 10% contribution to the Employee Stock Ownership Plan and a 4% matching contribution to the 401(k).

Requirements

Must be able to perform basic math functions.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma is a plus.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, label and ship customer orders accurately using an RF gun.
Receive, unload, count and put away incoming inventory.
Inspect products for defects and damage and records findings.
Cycle count inventory and investigate inventory variances, as directed.
Create inventory bundles by shrink-wrapping products together using the bundle machine.
Unwrap shrink-wrapped inventory bundles to fulfill component inventory stock needs.
Clean and organize warehouse daily.
Assist with light maintenance.
