The role of Warehouse Associate is vital in supporting our mission and achieving our goals. In this position, you will be tasked with ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse through a variety of functions, which may include shipping, receiving, and transferring of products to customers and other locations. Your efforts will guarantee that our customers receive the correct items in the appropriate quantities and at the right time, thereby helping to maintain comfort for members of our community in their homes and workplaces. Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Work well in a team-oriented environment Focus on safety first and ensuring the well-being of yourself and other employees, and the overall operations. Loading and unloading merchandise using the necessary equipment and tools Picking and preparing orders for shipment or customer pickup Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment, including loading docks Completing the required documentation to track and ship merchandise in accordance with company procedures and vendor instructions Preparing reports as requested by management Conducting cycle counts and participating in annual inventory Communicating with warehouse management regarding inventory issues, including discrepancies, damages, and non-stock items Assisting inside sales representatives and/or drivers as needed Being capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50 pounds without mechanical assistance Engaging in continuous walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, stooping, and carrying tasks.
