About The Position

Temp Responsibilities: Picker Level 1: Order Picking: Accurately pick items from designated locations in the warehouse based on customer orders, ensuring proper labeling and quantity verification. Packaging Assistance: Assist in packing picked items, including labeling and preparing them for shipping, to support the Shipping team's workflow. Receiver Level 1: Inbound Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, check the quality and quantity of items, and ensure proper documentation and labeling of received goods. Stock Organization: Help organize and store received items in their designated warehouse locations, ensuring efficient space utilization and easy retrieval. Inventory Control Level 1: Inventory Counting: Assist in periodic inventory counts and audits to verify stock levels, and report any discrepancies or shortages to the Inventory Control team. Data Entry: Enter inventory-related data, including received and picked quantities, into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) or inventory tracking software for accurate record-keeping. Shipper Level 1: Order Preparation: Prepare packages for shipping, ensuring that the correct items are included, labels are accurate, and items are adequately protected for transit. Loading Assistance: Assist in loading outgoing shipments onto trucks or delivery vehicles, following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure secure transport.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to regularly lift, push, and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for a prolonged period
  • Must be able to effectively work within a team environment
  • Communicate and can follow verbal and written directions
