About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for filling customer orders and delivering them to the pack/QA staging area in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders picked.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
Working knowledge in MS Word, Excel or similar computer software systems.
Ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations to sufficiently perform duties of the job.
Attendance at work and punctuality is essential
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to communicate effectively
The ability to follow directions is extremely important
Required frequently: sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time as well as, kneeling, squatting, bending and reaching
Ability to read and interpret documents
Must be able to count accurately, do simple math, and write legibly

Responsibilities

Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the style, size and quantity of product is accurate.
Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.
Carry or transport orders to shipping locations with material handling equipment.
Meet company performance standards for productivity.
On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment.
Conduct physical inventories as required.
Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.
Comply with OSHA Standards.
