About The Position

The Distribution Center / Warehouse area is responsible for directing, controlling and monitoring of the warehousing and distribution of materials or finished goods. This role involves receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment. The Warehouse Associate plans the movement of materials to ensure the efficiency of warehouse operations. The range of tasks performed is standardized but may contain multiple steps, requiring the application of intermediate technical knowledge in the use of resources. The associate identifies and solves basic problems, presenting alternatives in a useful/logical manner, even when problems involve uncommon variations. This position coordinates information exchange and builds working relationships with immediate supervisors or co-workers to accomplish tasks and solve problems. Additionally, the associate provides informal technical support and on-the-job training on specific tasks to new team members. The role operates under general supervision, with the associate typically setting their own priorities within established processes, guided by defined guidelines and standards. They follow technical procedures and receive periodic supervision on new procedures. The impact of their work is related to the quality of execution, and they are expected to apply continuous improvement concepts and participate in projects. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of related experience
  • Applies intermediate understanding/knowledge of processes, procedures, equipment and systems in technical area
