Our Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. What You Will Do: Caterpillar’s Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is seeking talented Warehouse Associates at our Griffin Warehouse located at 375 Green Valley Road, Griffin, GA 30224.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working within a logistics/warehouse setting, preferably within a Caterpillar/manufacturing environment in 2024-2025

Responsibilities

Operating heavy equipment including sit down forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and overhead hoists. Keep in mind, not all available positions operate equipment.
Perform material handling and warehousing functions such as unloading, sorting, putting away, picking, packing and shipping parts, materials and supplies.
Read work orders or follow oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved.
Load materials into vehicles and install strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey load to destination or signal crane or hoisting operators to move load to destination.
Count, weigh, and record number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or mark information on cases, bales, or other containers.
Clamp sections of portable conveyor together or place conveyor sections on blocks or boxes to facilitate movement of materials or products.
Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and clean work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.
Operate industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
Develop a culture that works to achieve and maintain an accident-free workplace.
Develop a culture that works to achieve and maintain ongoing housekeeping excellence.
Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time.

Benefits

Starting wage is $19.31/hour (paid bi-weekly) for 1st & 3rd shifts. Night shift premium of $2.00 per hour for 3rd shift.
