The Warehouse Associate will work with inventory to fill customer orders and receive raw materials. The Warehouse employee is required to drive a forklift, responsible for picking, packing, shipping and receiving of inventory. The Warehouse employee must use all safety precautions while operating equipment and tools. The ability to take direction and demonstrate initiative to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner is a must. What You'll Do Manufacturing Plant & Warehouse environment Working with plant employees requires a role model profile that reflects the rules and discipline levels employed in the facility Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Some overtime may be required. Sign for inbound shipments and obtain drivers signatures for outbound shipments. Establish and maintain professional working relationships with all customers, internal and external, to achieve overall goals. Collect all shipping and/or receiving documentation, ensure accuracy, and resolve discrepancies. Maintain all data and records relative to shipping and/or receiving activities. Read shipping orders to determine the quantity and type of transportation needed. Ensure the accuracy of all shipping documents, gather and maintain all data relative to shipping activities. Collect all documentation for outboard freight and route to the proper record-keeping unit. Schedule inbound and outbound freight to comply with warehouse operations. Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and issue instructions for loading products. Complete other tasks as assigned.
