Requirements

  • 2-5 years’ experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Ability to read and comprehend work instructions and packaging specifications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and present findings to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Ability to frequently lift up to 35 lbs. and occasionally up to 49 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for safely loading, unloading and material movement throughout the plant.
  • Work in a safe manner, following all safety rules and procedures.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Respond effectively in emergency situations.
  • Operates hand truck or various truck from our fleet of trucks (fork, reach, picker) to move or convey shipments.
  • Assembles finished goods. orders and loads shipments based on established standard operating procedures.
  • Prepares skids: straps, stretch wraps, weighs.
  • Receives incoming shipments based on established standard operating procedures.
  • Prints and pulls warehouse transfers and orders.
  • Receives, inspects and stores merchandise or materials.
  • Executes all aspects of shipping orders and receiving product from outside vendors.
  • Restocks corrugated and production’s needs.
  • Works with Production department.
  • Assembles loads for other facilities as needed.
  • Housekeeping responsibilities.
  • Assists in training of new employees.
  • All other duties as assigned.
