About The Position

Benefits of working with Westaff include: Health, Vision, Dental Weekly pay Free online courses Shift 1st 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday $21/hr Responsibilities of the Warehouse Associate include: Handling inbound and outbound telecommunications equipment Inspecting for damage Identifying parts Scanning serial and part numbers Packaging Placing materials into inventory If you have prior warehouse experience and a strong work ethic, this is a great opportunity to join a supportive team in a fast-paced environment! Key Responsibilities for the Warehouse Associate include: Process customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and special projects daily. Move materials by hand, pallet jack, fork truck, or high-reach equipment. Inspect materials for visible defects and report issues. Package and label materials according to specifications, including weight limits, ESD requirements, and foam packing. Store materials in racks following product guidelines. Perform light assembly work using hand tools such as screwdrivers. Scan incoming and outgoing materials with a hand barcode scanner to track inventory. Use computers daily for order processing and reporting.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 1- 2 years in general manufacturing or warehouse operations
  • Basic math skills
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
  • RF Scanners
  • Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
  • Must be able to speak, read, and understand English.
  • Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Flexibility, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Telecommunications equipment experience preferred
