About The Position
Davis Cartage Co. is seeking a reliable, hard-working Warehouse Associate to join our 2nd shift operations in Owosso, MI. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse or forklift experience and be eager to grow within a well-established logistics company.
Requirements
- Forklift experience preferred (certification provided)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, physical environment
- Basic computer/scan gun usage
- Must wear steel-toed boots
- Willing to complete Hazardous Materials training
- Positive attitude and team player
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks
- Wrap, label, and stage pallets for delivery
- Perform daily safety inspections on equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Communicate order discrepancies to the supervisor
- Load pallets onto trucks as needed
