About The Position

Warehouse Associate 1 contributes to the efficient operation of the warehouse by providing labor support to the Branch Office. Warehouse Associate 1 in this job performs a range of general and specific warehouse tasks that can be easily learned on the job such as receiving, stocking, assembling, staging, loading, and unloading products.

Responsibilities

• Package finished product for shipping (Shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Stages finished product for loading
• Check purchase orders/ work orders to ensure that products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery
• Check items to ensure that the correct number of products are being assembled
• Assists in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts
• Load the finished product onto the truck
• Unload products from trucks, containers, and stock them in the designated area
• Responsible for quality control
• Ensure that no damaged products are sent out, and no damaged products will be stored
• Operate pallet jack within standard operating procedures
• Perform preventive maintenance on palette jacks
• Perform on-the-job training for new employees
• Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations
• Prepare customers’ orders for delivery
• Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned
