About The Position

Headway Workforce Solutions is seeking experienced Warehouse Associates for our client in the La Vergne, TN area! Headway Hospitality focuses on providing high -quality workers to clients through Headway’s proprietary recruitment, talent acquisition, and workforce management practices. This position offers $17.00/hr -$18.00/hr. for 2nd shift. Shift is Monday -Friday, 6:00 PM -2:30 PM, 40 - hour work week with potential overtime. This is a temporary position with the potential to convert to a full -time position. We are looking to start individuals immediately! As a Warehouse Associate, you will: Receiveand move materials within warehouse. An integral part of the team,the Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists ininventory level maintenance, maintains complete and accurate paperwork,and operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be willing to drive center rider (prior experience with center rider preferred. Training provided)
  • Have one to three years related experience and/or training; or some equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)/Home School equivalency
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to work full scheduled shift. Open to having flexibility to help on other shifts.
  • Ability to work overtime including weekends and holidays that may be requested with little notice.
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Basicmath strategies: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units ofmeasure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

Responsibilities

  • Receiveand move materials within warehouse.
  • An integral part of the team,the Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists ininventory level maintenance, maintains complete and accurate paperwork,and operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner.
  • Mark pallets with identifying store information.
  • Use the computer / RF scanner to enter records.
  • Use lift equipment as needed once training and certification are completed (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)
  • Pick and stage parts for store replenishment
  • Keep work area neat, clean and hazard free.
  • Consistent, reliable attendance
  • Other related duties as assigned.
