About The Position

Oakwood Veneer Company is hiring a Warehouse Associate for their Troy, Michigan facility. This is a full-time, day-shift warehouse position offering consistent hours, strong benefits, and a clean, well-organized work environment. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, with optional voluntary overtime available after training. The company is conveniently located near I-75, 15 Mile Road, and Stephenson Highway. In this role, the associate will be responsible for pulling and picking customer veneer orders, packing and preparing shipments, loading materials, and supporting inventory management. The expectation is to pick and pack up to 30 customer orders per day with moderate complexity. Training is provided, including learning wood species, grades, cuts, and safe operation of warehouse equipment. The ideal candidate is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team, with attention to detail and a strong work ethic being essential. The position requires the ability to safely lift 60–70 lbs. boxes approximately 4–5 inches without assistance and the willingness to learn multiple machines over time. Requirements

At least 18 Months of Hi-Lo / forklift experience including loading and unloading semi-truck with hi-lo
Valid driver's license
Ability to work 8:30am to 5:00pm shift
Able to accurately and quickly pull a variety of wood veneer orders
Attention to detail while not sacrificing speed
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic
Ability to safely lift 60–70 lbs. boxes approximately 4–5 inches without assistance
