About The Position

Superior Environmental Solutions (SES) is looking for a safety-focused Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team in the Product Destruction division. What you will be doing Key responsibilities and functions may include, but are not limited to: Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority. Work with designated company representatives to learn and understand all safety, operational, and company rules, regulations, and responsibilities. Hands-on operation of hand-tools, baling machine, and other company equipment. Perform all work as directed by the supervisor or leadership personnel. Sorting, cutting, baling, etc. nonhazardous material to prepare for recycling operations. Separate processed materials into appropriate bins for recycling. Will need to be able to lift 50 pounds, sustain frequent bending, and stand for an extended period of time. Record keeping

Requirements

Must be safety conscious and have a good work ethic.
Must be able to work full time, extended shifts of up to 12 hours
Ensure equipment and company property are maintained in proper condition.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment, random, and or post-accident/injury substance abuse screening.
Works well in a team environment with other team members
Excellent organization skills to be able to complete various forms, records, and reports
Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment
Attention to detail is a must, as you will be inspecting products and keeping detailed records
Use of all necessary Personal Protective Equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses, cut-resistant gloves/sleeves, and retractable box cutters will provide along with the necessary training to maintain a safe work environment
Follow and distinguish emergency signals and instructions.
Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to repetitively lift, stoop, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and crawl.
Be able to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety glasses, approved steel-toe shoes, and hearing protection.
Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures depending on season, varying noise levels, and occasional fragrances

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience is a plus but not required
