About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a dependable, experienced Warehouse Associate to join our Utility Supply & Services Team. Schedule will be Monday - Friday, with the potential of overtime highly likely during peak business months. This position may travel to other locations to assist during peak times and a valid Drivers License will be required.

Requirements

• Forklift and warehouse experience preferred
• Prior forklift certification a strong plus
• Valid drivers' license required for business travel between locations
• Experience loading flatbed trailers preferred
• Basic computer skills to include, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees within and outside the organization
• Must be able to work in outdoor areas, subject to the elements
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, pull, twist, push, and pull for sustained periods of time
• Able to operate a computer and other office machinery using finger dexterity for typing and writing
• Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken word
• Able to perform physical effort to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds
• Visual acuity to view a computer screen

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship materials
• Load and unload truck orders
• Maintain accurate inventory in proper warehouse racking and storage areas
• Complete accurate cycle counts
• Receive and put away material
• Able to operate forklift throughout warehouse
• Willing and able to drive and assist at other Co-op locations, when needed
