About The Position

Receiving and Put-away all inbound freight according to procedural standards. Picking and Shipping customers orders as well as 3PL items as procedural standards. Product Distribution to and from Manufacturing. FIFO/FEFO Rotation. Ensures warehouse stocking area is clean and well maintained, in accordance with federal, state, and local safety rules. Organization: Receives and tags items in the warehouse with barcode labels, pallet tags, allergen stickers etc. Ensures stocked items are organized, allergen separated and readily accessible. Stock Inspection: Examines items in inventory for defects, damage and reports this information to Inventory Control Department. Reports any and all quality defects of ingredients to the Quality control team.

Requirements

  • Must have RF scanning system knowledge.
  • Previously trained operated reach and hi-lows.
  • Knowledge of FIFO system.
  • Ability to work off pick lists and system driven reports.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Strong communication skills; verbally and in writing. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to build excellent working relationships and work collaboratively and efficiently with others.
  • Exhibit self-motivation, confidence, energy, & ability to operate under pressure.
  • Detail oriented with standard mathematical acumen.
  • Sound understanding and application of safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to use warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • Ability to effectively use Microsoft software, i.e., Word, Excel.
  • Standard ability to apply general mathematical concepts.
  • High School Diploma and one year warehousing operation, or any equivalent combination of education and experience to include two (2) years of experience using a forklift and reach truck and knowledge of experience using order picker and scissor lift.
  • Two years minimum experience with RF scanning systems.

  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.
