Warehouse Associate - Night Shift
About The Position

Our Warehouse Team Members serve as a key link between our company and our customer base of collision repair shops in the region. The goal for each Warehouse Associate is to be a team player and be able and willing to go the extra mile. A Day in the Life of a Warehouse Team Member with Empire Auto Parts may include: · Processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately · Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory · Inspecting products for defects and damages · Examining ingoing and outgoing deliveries · Organizing warehouse space · Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items appropriately · Checking, verifying, and filling customer invoices · Abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations · Keeping warehouse clean and organized daily · Performing duties as assigned by supervisor Our Ideal Warehouse Team Member Will: · Possess a friendly and sincere demeanor · Ability to work well in a team environment · Be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented · Have previous experience or knowledge of auto parts (forklift training and certification is a plus!) · Have a high school diploma or equivalent is a plus · Be at least 18 years old Ways to Standout: · Must be able to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time · Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively · Must be able to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements · Staging, loading, unloading parts, and stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory · Responsibilities include pulling orders for delivery and shipment · Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment · Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system
